Shopkeepers sell you all just by showing you what the thing does, and if you want to find secrets, you just have to pay attention to the environment, and sound cues. NPCs show you images when they tell their story. There's no text in the game -well there is, but just for some menu navigation-, all is said through images and environmental storytelling which just adds a lot to the charm of the game. They would fit in a pixel horror game to be honest, and if you go to the east section of the map (lake), you'll see some fucked up shit. All creatures are lovely, but then you find the "Giants". It's super satisfying when you dodge attacks, hit the enemies with a combo, then dodge again, send their projectiles back at them, and finishing those with a well put laser shot! DAMN! Sometimes, you get swarmed by so much that you get easily overwhelmed and can kiss your life goodbye! If you nail the dash timing once you get it, tho, the game just starts to fly. All enemies choreograph their attacks, so it should be easy to avoid, right? Yes and no. The game is fast paced, you have to nail the timing if you want to be good at it.
